1.表示“一个”、“一个人”的简称时,读作“ an”,如:“ this is an of my dictionary, and it’ splightly.”(这是我的字典,是一把精致的薄纸板小刀。
)2.每一个,表示泛指的“一群”、“一伙”时,读作“ a”,如:“ this is a group of people.”(这是一群人。
)另一个意思是第一人称单数的指示代词,第一人称单数的时候读作“ the+形容词”、“ the+名词”,大家都知道的“ the one”读作“ the one”,“ the”是这么读的,它和 a 一个读音,表示“所有的”的意思。
3.大部分,“一些”时,读作“ the+比较级+ than-比较级”,如:“ he is older than me.”(他比我年龄大。
)4.全部,“所有的”时,读作“ all/ every+复数名词”,如:“ they are all in china.”(他们都在中国。
)5.表示“每一”、“每种”时,读作“ the+单数名词”,如:“ thereare two books on the desk.”(桌子上有两本书。
)6.表示“各”、“各自”时,读作“ the+复数名词”,如:“ youll go to each house by your own way.”(你可以按照自己的方式到你自己的房间去。

)9.表示“若干”时,读作“ several/ few+复数名词”,如:“ thereare some tomatoes near the table.”(桌子附近有一些西红柿。
)10.表示“某人”时,读作“ someone/ somebody+单数名词”,如:“ i like her very much.”(我非常喜欢她。
